FACE  CHALLENGES  AND  OVERCOME  THEM

No matter what upheavals may come into my life, when I think positively, that alone helps me to create a right attitude. I can cheer up and say that I am definitely going to cross all these hurdles and come out successful.  It is said  “as is your vision, so is your world.”

Here are some pointers on how to create a right attitude.

If I focus on that which is good, such will be my experience.   But if I focus on that which is negative, the consequent experience will be bad.  Try to see the good in others just as we want others to see the good in us.

We must always remember that we are living in the world of obstacles and it is inevitable that obstacles will come.  It is our challenge to face and overcome them.

It is necessary to teach ourselves to bring in selfless, serene and powerful thoughts. This will empower the mind. It will charge the mind the same way as how the solar panel absorbs the sun’s rays converting them into electrical energy.

Credit or praise someone in private, acknowledge and congratulate them.

This is an uplifting experience for everyone. Usually the big things are given so much focus, but saying thank you honours our countless small achievements, which often go unnoticed.

Thought for reflec­tion:

When things get rough, remember that it’s the rubbing that brings out the shine.

TAKING THE FIRST STEP

Let’s take the first step.   Let’s get this whole idea realized.   Let’s get together and start getting ourselves sorted out.   But first what do we do?

Logically we have to get to know each other.    And how do we do that …  we are thousands of miles apart.  We are staying in different parts of the world …  across so many continents … and having so many geographical borders between us.

But if we have one objective .. that is a common objective … we can make it.   Yes through the Internet.

On this site,  I have opened a page.   This page will be the beginning of things we can do together.   I call it the EPC CLUB page.   This page I feel will be the starting point in our venture of friendship and cross-border interactions.

The EPC CLUB is a club with members not confined to age, sex, religion or nationality   The membership is open to all … so long as each and every one can contribute intelligently  something for the benefit of our future generations.   The CLUB’s main objective is to get people together …  to exchange knowledge,  experiences,  opinions and ideas … which hopefully will be used as a basis and guideline for us to go into the future as one strong and happy global family.

But first the registration requirements.   Frankly,  there is no hard and fast rule.   All you have to do is let me have your name,  your email address,  you age,  your academic achievements,   your profession,  your postal address  (this will tell me the city and your country of residence) … and send them to me at the following email addresses:    elitebroadcast@gmail.com or   eliteprima@yahoo.com,    and I will do the rest.   Whatever personal data you provide and you don’t want to make it public,   will not be made public.

The next step I will take is to create groupings.   This is the essence of the whole exercise.   This will start the conversations and interactions.    Getting you into the right groups will make it easier for you to start your discussions …  who knows you may even begin a business venture through this groupings.

Well,  that’s it.   Let’s get the ball rolling.   By the way,   a Newsletter will be sent out to your email address at regular intervals.

CONNECTING PEOPLE … An Idea

When we talk about getting people connected,  we mean getting them to  talk to each other … share views and opinions … exchange experiences,  ideas and knowledge.   In other words we want them to interact … to participate in discussions … not just as a listener but to be involved.

Discussions can lead to decisions.  I am sure we want to be part of the decision making process.   We just do not want to be a by-stander.   In most cases,   the on going discussions can affect our very lives.   By participating we will have our voice … our opinions heard.   There is a lot of good this will do to us.

But the fact is,  in discussions,  in most cases we will just listen,  and when the discussions are over … then … only then we will voice our opinion.  Only then we will say that we do not agree to this and that.

Nowadays there are a lot of platforms where we can  have discussions.  There is the seminar,  the symposium,  the workshop and what have you.   But unfortunately,  we never think that all these are important.   We will say that these are just arenas for the ‘big people’  to say what  they want to say and in most cases about ‘big things’…. which we feel are beyond our mental capacity and comprehension.

But then,  to think of it,  even when discussing ‘small issues’ … issues about our daily activities …  we will be on the quiet.   Because we will say that “I do not belong to that  group of people.”   By doing this,  we are making ourselves segregated.

Let’s think about the things we will be loosing if we are not the participating kind.   So let’s get together and talk … talk about anything of interest to us.  But talk intelligently … with a focused objective.   I believe,  this will do us a lot of good.

Hence,  this is the very thing I want to do and achieve through this site  EPC NETWORK.   I would like and I wish,  this site will the meeting place for people … people with ideas and knowledge.  The professionals … the academicians … the scientists … the scholars … the activists … the writers … the thinkers … and the rest … are invited to use this site as the ‘platform’ for the exchange of knowledge,  ideas and opinion … for the future.   I am not suggesting that our task is to change the world … but let’s talk about it … let’s talk about our future … the future of mankind.

Why not,  at least we will be making a useful contribution.
